We are historians, architects, artists and art historians - and every one of us a Berlin enthusiast!

Usually, our tours are conducted in German. We do, however, cater for visitors from abroad and can consequently offer tours in English, French, Italian and Spanish language. In order to be able to make appropriate arrangements, however, we would appreciate your indication of language preference at the time of booking.

Whether you are a group of friends, members of a family, club, business environment or an official delegation, - our staff will ensure that the needs of each individual group are fulfilled. You may, of course, book a tour at any time for just a small group, or even for a single person. 

In either case, we would point out that our rates are based on the amount of time and preparation required to produce the content of each tour, and not on the number of participants. Any special conditions should be discussed directly with Tobias von Schoenebeck at the Schoenebeck-Kulturarrangements (SKA).

Our tours are essentially organized for groups whose individual numbers do vary. 

On walks and bike tours, there is in theory no fixed limit; however, if we are to provide the individual attention we set out to in each tour, we do prefer to set an upper limit of between 15 and 20 participants. If you are more than 20, we will organize a second group. 

Our boat trip participation is limited, owing to the maximum seating capacity of the boats in question; the "Gisela", for example, caters for a maximum of 25, the "Aida" for 20, the "Phoenix" for 8, the "Anna" for 38, the "Pauline" for 50, the "Josephine" for 45 and - last but not least - the "Philippa" for about 80 passengers.

The Schoenebeck-Kulturarrangements (SKA) tries to organize each tour in such a way as to make it a very personal event for all participants. It is for this reason that group sizes are generally restricted, thereby ensuring that individual questions and special requests can be taken into account. Each tour obviously has a set structure and timetable. 

Nevertheless, it is generally possible to depart from the original sequence, if we are to try and accommodate a specific request from a group member, - be it an additional point to, or a change in the programme, or even a completely different route. However, such changes do require to be made known at the time of booking since advance planning will naturally be necessary. 

On top of this, we are able to offer you our Schoenebeck-Kulturarrangements-Specials: here, each tour can be extended and/or combined with the Complete Berlin Package to comprise a total event. Just ask us - we'll gladly advise you!

With the Schoenebeck-Kulturarrangements (SKA) each tour is organized specifically for the client booking it: right from the point of advance planning, through the structure and content, up until the actual date, which is fixed individually. 

Thus on the one hand, it is quite possible for us to take on a last-minute booking which, if we are to fit in with a certain date, can entail extremely short-term planning. On the other hand, since a large number of bookings are made well in advance (and spread out over the whole year), capacity for spontaneous tours is sometimes restricted. We do, however, always do our best to fit in with your individual requests.
